The research summaries featured in Urban Nexus [Family Network's monthly e-bulletin of policy research, news and events on cities and communities] remain a useful resource for the policy community.
Between October 2002 and June 2005, CPRN research associate, Neil Bradford, produced 29 thematic editions of Urban Nexus. Each monthly issue started from the premise that place matters. An urban lens was used to present traditional policy fields in a new light and highlighted emerging issues for cities and communities. Approximately 1,400 subscribers in many different countries used the service.
Each issue of Urban Nexus included:
- reviews and summaries of recent studies and reports on a specific theme;
- news about upcoming events and research; and
- direct links to authors, publications and conferences.
